CSG International's Nam Tha 1 Lao Power Co., Ltd. marked the New Year and the sixth anniversary of the Nam Tha 1 Hydropower Station's commercial operation with a "New Year Walk" event. Combining health and environmental awareness, the activity symbolized hopes and aspirations for the year ahead. The event featured two routes: one around That Luang Lake in Vientiane, Laos, and the other from the living camp of Nam Tha 1 Hydropower Station to the power plant gate. Nearly 60 participants, including all staff of Nam Tha 1 Lao Power, teachers and students from the China-Laos friendship schools, and representatives from Pha Oudom substation, took part in the walk.
Electricite du Laos Transmission Company Limited (EDL-T) hosted a New Year's Day celebration under the theme "We Are Family". The event fostered teamwork and cultural exchange as Chinese and Lao employees came together to welcome the New Year. The celebration highlighted the determination of employees from both countries to forge ahead in unity and seek common development in the coming year.
